At A Home For the Lost Church we believe that the Bible is the infallible word of God, that what is contained in the books of the Bible  were written by men, yet inspired by God. We believe that the Word of God is the very breath of God and it brings life to those who read it. We believe that we are saved by grace through faith by the finished work of Jesus. We believe that Jesus came to earth in the flesh. He was fully God and fully man; He is the Son of the living God and a part of the Trinity that consists of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, rising again on the third day. We believe that He is coming back again in the Second Coming and we believe and wait with great anticipation until the day He calls us home to be with Him. 

 

We believe in sanctification as a definite, yet continuous work. We believe in the promise of the Spirit, spoken of by the prophet Joel (Joel 2), that was first given to the church in Acts (Acts 2) on the day of Pentecost where they were filled with his spirit and spoke in other tongues. We believe the Holy Spirit is still active in the church today and that signs and wonders should still follow those that believe.
